Our New Home (finally)

Our house is officially ours today! We ran into flood zone problems which delayed the financing about 3 weeks, we are not even in a flood zone. But after everything we went through to get our home we absolutely love it! It is perfect for us! Anyways we are here in Vernal and loving it! I am loving being home with my boys and really enjoy living in a small town. We can drive pretty much any direction in be in the mountains in 10 minutes. We took a drive last night and saw a bid herd of Elk and lots and lots of deer. My boys love it here as well. Justin loves his job! He works as a Physical Therapist at the Hospital, and often takes Jace fishing after work. He really enjoys having a lot of good fishing within 10-45 minutes.
Justin has always wanted an office so we chose to make the living room his office. He bought a big desk (which is really an oversized fly tying table) and enjoys having his own little room to relax in. We all like it too, sorry Justin. His parents gave him the beautiful Christ picture for graduation which we all love.

He Passed!!!

Justin took the State Boards Physical Therapy exam and passed!!! I am so proud of him! He studied really hard and now he will be able to be licensed as soon as he has his diploma. Justin will be working at Ashley Regional Hospital in Vernal. They have their own clinic located across from the hospital which is where he is most of the time. He will also spend a couple of hours each day in the hospital working with patients. We will moving to Vernal on May 9th and he starts work on May 11th. The best part of all this---I get to finally quit working and stay home with our 2 boys!

Our New Home in Vernal

As most of you know, we will be moving to Vernal the beginning of May after Justin graduates. He will be working as a Physical Therapist at the Hospital in Vernal. We finally found a house that we both really like. Justin of course wishes it had a bigger yard and be both would have a liked a home with a basement but of all the homes we saw this home was by far the best. These are some pictures of the home. We haven't closed yet so everything in the pics belong to the previous oweners. (Too bad they can't just leave all their cute decor and furniture)
This is our view from the backyard. There is nothing but a field behind us and the beautiful mountains. We obviously need to put a yard in.

This is the room they used as their living room. We are going to use it as an office. The way it is situated in the home makes an ideal office. Plus we figure we would use an office more than a living room.
The kitchen is my favorite kitchen I have seen. It is really open and has really nice cabinets.

This was their darling little girls room. It will be our spareroom until we have another kid in the next couple years. (No I am not pregnant)

This will be the boys bedroom. They have bunkbeds so it will work out really nice having them share a room.
Master Bedroom with the attached bathroom. I have always wanted a garden/jetted tub. This was by far my favorite master bed/bathroom.

Easter

Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a great Easter! We had Easter this year at Justins parents home since we are staying with them until we move to Vernal in May. The kids had a lot of fun finding their easter baskets that the bunny hid. They especially liked the candy. We went to the church for an easter egg hunt on Saturday morning.
Zack and Jace with their basket of eggs.

Next we had the Watkins Easter/Birthday Party. Every year we have a mixed party to celebrate Easter and Grandpa Rob and Uncle Micahs birthdays. We colored eggs and had an easter egg hunt.
Abby, Matt, Jared, Jace and Joslynn. Zack was asleep for all the fun but Jace got enough candy to share with him.
This is how Justin spent his Easter weekend. He is taking his big Physical Therapy Exam on Tuesday so he spent all day Saturday studying.

The Carter Easter Party. We went to my parents on Sunday for our easter party. We had an easter egg hunt and enjoyed the nice weather outside.

After the egg hunt, Zack picked up Jaces basket and dumped the eggs on the ground. Jace pulled out the dart gun grandma and grandpa gave him and shot him. Zack just laughed and started throwing the eggs. It was pretty funny!

Searching for a home in Vernal

Last Saturday we went to Vernal to look for a house to buy. Did I really think we could go all the way to Vernal and NOT fish the Green River? Who was I kidding. It was a little cold but we all had a good time. Justin is more than happy to go house hunting any time--as long as it includes a short trip to fish the Green.

We didn't find a house but at least Justin caught a fish. That at least made his day!
