Christmas Time

My mom got all the girls these cute scarfs and gloves so we could take some fun Christmasy pictures.

I guess getting kissed under the mistletoe somehow brings holiday magic into your life. Well, it worked for us anyway!

Jace and Zack Picture Day

I went and got pictures taken of Jace and Zack in their Christmas Suits. Jace was such a good kid and took really good pictures.
Zack on the other hand wanted nothing to do with pictures. He would smile and pose when he wasn't in front of the screen but the minute we tried to get a picture he would cry or run away. We finally were able to get him to cooperate by bringing out the big stuffed dog. He loved the dog! Does a dog really go with suits? Not really, do I care, no. I was just glad to get some cute pictures. I will always look back at this day and laugh!

Overall this was our favorite picture of Zack. He always gets this look when he does something wrong or just doesn't know what to think.

Watkins Halloween Party

Every year we celebrate Gerricks birthday by mixing in a little bit of Halloween as well. We have Gerricks birthday dinner and cake and then out come the pumpkins. Everybody carves their own pumpkin or helps the kids with theirs. I found out this year that I am not a good carver. Jace wanted to carve a ghost in a window. Easy enough right. I cut out everything instead of just the windows. It looks more like a bat now.
For my pumpkin I carved a vampire leaning in to "bite" his next victim. Okay so Justin pretty much carved most of it. I guess he didn't trust me with this one. Justin did a really good job on his pumpkin. He carved Homer.Gerrick and Megan.

The Carter Halloween Party

Last night we had our ward trunk or treat. We then went to Trents house for a Halloween Party. It was really fun. Candice decorated her basement really "spooky" for the kids.

We drank "witches brew". Jace thought that was really cool!

I have never seen Zack scream like he did when he first saw Trent. He would cry/scream anytime Trent put the mask on. Luckily his favorite aunt Stacy was there to protect/cuddle him.

Little Kinnedi was the cutest little lady bug ever. When the music came on she would start dancing and twiling in circles. So cute!

We had a lot of fun but REALLY missed all of you in Arizona (Mom, Jess, Todd, Tanner, Carter and Cali). We also missed Kelsey who was having fun at a school dance.

My 27th Birthday

I am now 27 years old. According to Justin I am getting "old". I keep reminding him that he is still older than I am. Time goes so fast!

Justin, Jace and Zack took me to Texas Rhoadhouse for my birthday dinner. It was really yummy. We then went to my moms and celebrated my birthday with my family.

End of Summer

These of some pictures of how my boys spent the end of their summer:

Jace learned to ride his bike without

training wheels. He would ride his bike all day if we let him. He thinks its so cool to ride a "big boy" bike.

Zack now gets to ride one of Jaces old bikes. He doesn't go very far, but he loves to sit, bounce and stand on it.

Zack has been walking for about 3 months now. Now, he runs. His latest trick is when I tell him to come to me he waves bye, laughs and then turns and runs the opposite direction. He thinks he is so funny! If it wasn't so cute it would drive me crazy!

Jace also started his second year of preschool. He thinks it is sooo long (2 hours) but likes to go and learn.

Mirror Lake

We went to Mirror Lake for our last family camping trip of the year. My family came up with us and stayed overnight.

We were so surprised that they decided to stay over night in their tent. We were very glad they did. We had a lot of fun walking around the lake and having a camp fire.

They were such troopers to come and stay the night. Trent had cut his hand open two days before but still came up to camp.

They have this cool log at Mirror Lake that the boys loved to play on. Jace loved climbing on top of it and Zack really liked to walk thru the inside and poke his head out. So naturally, we had to take pictures of them having fun.

Watkins Family Camping Trip

We went camping to Pole Creek with Justins family. It was really fun eventhough it rained a lot and everything was wet. We had a river of water running under our tent. The funniest part of the trip was the last night we were there. It was starting to lightening and thunder so we were all debating on getting in our cars to wait it out. All of a sudden there was a really close lightening bolt instantly followed by an incredibly loud thunder. ALL of the adults starting screaming, grabbed the kids and ran to the cars. Poor Jace was so upset by it all. We sat in the car for about 20 minutes til most of the lightening was gone. It took about that long for Jace to finally calm down. Mary then came over and apologized for all of us scaring him and said we were all just silly. It was pretty fun though to see grown ups run and scream.

Zack was so happy when Justin hiked around with him on his shoulders. That was probably the happiest he was the entire trip.

Breaking Dawn!

Joye, Kelsey and I went to the Breaking Dawn release party at Barnes and Noble for the midnight release. We dressed up as bridesmaids and had a ton of fun! I read the entire book Saturday and loved it!

Zack's First Birthday

Zack turned one on July 20th. He loved his teddy bear cake and got frosting all over his face. I went to clean his face and he rubbed his eyes with his hands that were covered in frosting. His eyes were literally glued shut from the frosting. He loved opening his presents and playing with the wrapping paper.
