Jace All Stars 2014

This is the last baseball post for the year!  Jace made the All Star team again this year and they took first place at District and 3rd place at State.  Jace pitched really good and his batting has improved a ton.  One of the coaches taught him how to bunt and he was one of the best bunters on the team.  Jace is an extremely good ball player and we have loved watching him play!  Tyson was just happy as can be as long as there was DIRT!

Lodgepole Family Camp June 2014

We went up to Lodgepole Campground as a family  in June.  There was a momma bird sitting on a nest with her babies by the restroom.   Every time we went my boys had to look at the babies.  They thought it was pretty cool, even though it made the momma bird very nervous!  We took the boys on the Flaming Gorge Dam tour because the tubes were opened to let extra water out.  This rarely happens so we wanted to see it, which was amazing.  The pictures don't even do it justice.  We also saw a moose in the camp as we were leaving.

Spring League Baseball Yankees and Phillies

This was Zack's first year of baseball and he loved it!  He was on the Yankees team and did really good.  He was one of the few kids who could hit the ball and hit almost every time he was up.  He wanted to be a catcher but after getting hit by a pitch he decided he didn't want to be a catcher anymore ;)

Jace played for the Phillies team where he played pitcher, short stop and catcher, which he obviously loved.
