Jace All Stars Regional Tournament

Lucky for us the Regional Tournament which is Utah, Arizona, California and Nevada was held in Riverton Utah...right by all of our family!  Jace had so much support from his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Justin was also able to get off work and come up for some of the games.

Tyson went up to Kelsey before she left the game and told baby Londyn to "come out"!!  Kels went into labor about 2 hours later and had Londyn the next day.  Nice work Tyson!!

 The team did a lot of fun stuff as a team.....Jace's favorite was when they went to a Bee's game.  He had some good friends on the team including the coaches who were awesome!

They didn't win because the teams from California and Arizona were amazing! They still had fun and were able to at least beat the Nevada teams.  They put up a pretty good fight and this  is something Jace will always remember!  GO VERNAL!!!

Jace All Stars (District and State)

This was an awesome year for Jace in baseball.  He made the All Star team again this year as a pitcher and playing short stop.  It was so much fun to go to all his tournaments and watch him play the game he loves!

His game was during the Carter Family Camp so Carter was able to come off the mountain and watch one of Jace's games.

This was by far the funnest tournament I have ever been to!  I am sure it was because their team was winning ;)  They only lost to one team in the preliminary's but came back and crushed them in the finals and took State!

4th of July

Carter Camp 2013....Lodgepole

This was our 3rd Carter Family camp to Lodgepole by Flaming Gorge and it was fun and HOT!!  We all had a blast just chillin at camp, floating the river, playing on the beach and cliff jumping.  All the cousins get along so well and had so much fun playing with each other.

The entire length of the river the guys were watching their backs....every chance they got they would try to knock each other in the river.  This time all 3 men went in....it was really funny!

Zack was my little water bug this trip!  He jumped in the river several times and would just float and swim until we made him get back in the raft.  He loved it....even though the water was pretty cold!

This was one of the only times we saw Tyson smile on the raft.  He didn't like it until the last 15 minutes and even then he still wanted out.  He was quite the stinker!

This was a beach at Flaming Gorge that we went to because it was too hot to do anything else.  Unfortunately the water was kind of smelly with a thick black mud.  The kids all had fun in it and even liked playing with the black goo.  Tyson especially loved his raft.  He wouldn't go in the water in it but made sure nobody else did either.  He just loved "getting his boat ready" by putting the oars in it and pulling it to the water. 

I didn't get many pictures of the men and boys cliff jumping but below is Justin doing a front flip. 

I took Tyson down to the bottom and he jumped in and swam with his daddy.  It was a really fun trip and look forward to doing it again next year....hopefully with everybody!

Happy 3rd Birthday Tyson!!!

Tyson turns 3 tomorrow but we celebrated it today.  This was the first year I think he really loved his birthday and was excited to open presents and eat birthday cake. 

He really wanted the toy bbq or as he calls it his "hot dog toy".  His cousins have one and he absolutely loved it so Grandma and Grandpa Watkins got him one.  He loves it!

Grandma Carter took Tyson shopping for his birthday.  We were wanting to get him a bike but he wanted this scooter instead.  He loves it!

I was gone all week with baseball so I put Justin in charge of Tyson's cake.  Its aqua blue frosting with fish sprinkles.....needless to say Tyson loved it!

What can I say I love my boys!  They are ALL so handsome.....and a little crazy!

We have loved having Tyson in our family!  He is such a fun, active and loving little guy!  He definitely has his moments but over all he has been a huge blessing in our lives and always keeps us on our toes!  Happy Birthday Ty!
