Moonshine Arch

This morning we ventured out to Moonshine Arch, which is just past Steinaker Reservoir. The temperature was a nice mid 40's, which could not be better for this time of year and this part of the country. Jace brought along his good friend Jordan.
Picture from under the arch.
There were some wind tunnel/caves adjacent to the arch that the boys loved to climb and explore.

Jace and Jordan kept asking if they could climb around on different parts; however one time they disappeared and by the time Zack and I caught up with them we found them on top of the arch. Below is a pic of Jace and Jordan on top of the arch before I made them get down.

This past week Jace and Zack have been watching a lot of the Man vs Wild episodes. In the show Bear Grylls is a maniac and climbs up all sorts of mountains. Apparently this show has influenced Zack, because he was fearless around cliffs and wanted to climb up every mountain we came to. At times he made me real nervous, so I would follow him and hold onto the loop of his backpack.

After exploring the arch a bit we hiked up over the face of the mountain and tried to find a different way back to our truck.

We ended up hiking/running down the face of this mountain, which did not look to bad while we were on it. Once we got to the bottom we looked back and could not believe what we had just come down.

Tyson-2 months old

I am a little late posting this but here are Tyson's 2 month growth stats:
Weight: 10 lbs 13 oz (20th %)
Height: 23 inches (42%)
Head: They didn't tell me the size but his head is only in the 30 %. Both Jace and Zack's heads were in the 90-100%.He is doing really well and the doctor said everything looks great! We gave him his first haircut/trim 2 weeks ago. Before we cut his hair I measured it and it was 2 inches long!

Tyson loves his jumper! He was jumping and laughing so I went to get my camera. I came back just minutes later and this was how I found him. Poor guy was all jumped out and sleeping.

Fishing with Trent and Kinnedi

Last weekend Trent brought his family out to Vernal to visit us. Justin and Trent decided to take the older 3 kids fishing in his drift boat. They had fun and caught a few fish. I mostly had to do this post to show the picture of of Trent trying to get Kinnedi to kiss the fish, it is too funny!

What a sweet dad!

Trent with his catch of the day

Jace and Justin with the fish they caught. Out of all the kids, Jace being the oldest, he was the one who kept asking to go home. Thanks Trent and Candice for bringing your cute girls and coming to visit us! We loved having you here!

Tyson's Blessing

Tyson Carter Watkins- We blessed Tyson last Sunday and are grateful to all of our family who came out to Vernal for the blessing. We really appreciate all the support! We are so lucky to have a sweet little baby in our home. Tyson has been a very happy, peaceful baby. I love the special sweet spirit that babies have. Its amazing to think that he came straight from heaven and we are so grateful that he came to us.

More pics of my cute boys

My aunt needed a family picture for a project she was doing and wanted one with Tyson it it. She needed it right away so we figured this was good enough for now. Hopefully we will get a better family picture soon!
Tyson has the craziest hair! I wash it and comb it down and this is how it dries, it literally stands straight up! I love it!

Zack's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday Zack! He turned 3 on July 20th, and is no longer my baby. Its amazing how much they seem to grow up once you have a new baby. Zack is a very active little boy who loves to play with Jace and now Tyson. He is so much fun to have around and makes us laugh all the time.
