Christmas 2009

Justin was on call and had to work a couple hours on Christmas so we stayed home this year for Christmas. We went up the weekend before and had our Christmas parties with both our families which was a lot of fun.
Christmas Eve--Jace and Zack posing in their new pj's. We had a very different but relaxing Christmas Eve this year by ourselves. We missed being with family but enjoyed being with our boys.

Jace showing off his baseball mit and bat. He his really into baseball right now and wanted all baseball stuff.
Zack playing with his helicopter. I actually took him to the store this year and let him play with many toys until he found the one he wanted. This was what he chose. It talks, counts the balls as you put them in and makes cool sounds. He loves it!

Justins big present this year was a recliner and side table for his office. We used the money both our parents gave us to finish his office. It is now very cozy!

I got a temple picture that also has the Proclamation to the family for our family room. I also got a really cute Madame Alexander doll that Justin surprised me with.

Zack and all his Christmas stuff. He loved opening all his gifts.

Jace showing off all of his cool stuff he got for Christmas. His favorite was his Baseball Ball mit and bat.

Jace kept asking if Grandma and Grandpa were going to come see what he got for Christmas. I told him we live too far away for anyone to come visit on Christmas Day. However, the day after Chistmas, Grandma and Grandpa Watkins made the 3 hour trek out to Vernal to see what the boys got for Christmas. We were all so excited! The boys especially loved having them here for the day!

Killing Tiff's Addiction

Red neck fun with the Boys!
Saturday afternoon, before our beloved Utes lost, we ventured out to help Tiffany get rid of her habit of drinking soda. We don't really have a year supply of anything except diet cherry pepsi.
Above is the evidence of two 12 packs. We left her one 12 pack hidden away in the cupboard just incase she goes through some crazy withdrawls.

Jace loading the .22 above and warming up on some balloons below for the pepsi slaughter.

This is our new mud room that we put together while listening to our beloved Utes. Thanks Dad for helping me with the wood work!

Halloween

I took the boys to Salt Lake the weekend before Halloween for the Watkins annual Halloween/Gerricks Birthday party. Jace really wanted all of us to dress up as "army guys" for Halloween so that is what we were.

One of our neighbors brought the fire truck to our trunk or treat. My boys loved it! They had fun trick or treating!

Tiff 28th Birthday

I had a really wonderful birthday! Mary and Rob offered to come down for the weekend to watch the boys while Justin took me on a date for our birthday. It was a really nice of them to come and we really enjoyed having them here. Justin took me to Stockmans for dinner (all you can eat steak--we couldn't even finish the first steak) but it was really yummy. We wanted to see a movie, but they didn't have anything good playing at the theater. So what did we do? We went to the high school football homecoming game! Pathetic I know, but there is really nothing else to do in Vernal. It was still a fun night out with Justin!

We have been wanting to get a Wii for a while but could never justify buying one. So we decided to get one as an early Christmas present so Jace and his friends could play in our house when it gets too cold to play outside. He surprised me by getting it for my birthday. Jace was so good not to tell me what they got me--until he said "mom, can I play the Wii we got you for your birthday in the morning?" Then I said "what" and he said it again. Needless to say Justin wasn't too happy. Poor Jace, he can never keep secrets no matter how hard he tries!

Witches and Pumpkin Patch Fun

I took the kids to Salt Lake over UEA weekend (Justin was on call so he couldn't come) to go to the pumpkin patch with their cousins. We went to see the witches at Gardner Village then over the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins. The kids had lots of fun and were good most of the time.

The Watkins cousins at Gardner Village

Jace loved the witches playing baseball (its his favorite sport right now)

Grandpa taking the kids for a ride in the wheel barrel. Zack wanted his own wheel barrel. He thought it was too crowded for him.
Zack really loves and is attached to Grandpa. He took Zack around the whole pumpkin patch until they found the perfect pumpkin for Zack.

Zack and Jace waiting while grandpa bought the pumpkins. Zack thought the little pumpkins were balls and would throw them down and get so excited!

Zack and Kinnedi-- it looks like Zack is taking her for a ride around the patch--Such cute cousins!
They loved playing the trailer with all the hay. They thought that was just the coolest thing!
Now its Jaces turn to take Kinnedi for a ride
Me and my boys!

They wanted one last picture in front of the tractor. We had so much fun with all of our families while we were down their! We can't wait to go back--except for the 3 hour drive :)
