Jace Baseball---GO ROYALS

As most of you know Jace is quite the ball player!  He LOVES playing baseball and is getting really good at pitching.  He played on the Royals team for Spring Ball and was the main pitcher and also played short stop and occasionally catcher.  It is so fun to watch him play and he gets better every year!  He made the All Star team again this year so we have a lot more games to go to! We love going to his games!

Zack T-ball

All of the pictures above are of Zack's first t-ball game....as you can see he LOVED to hit and could hit really well, however, he didn't love playing outfield.  After some encouragement from Justin to move around and try to catch balls Zack finally started playing hard and fielding more balls.  He even got to play catcher and pitcher which meant he had to catch and throw the ball for that entire inning.  GO ZACK!!!!  Looks like we have another baseball boy and boy can he hit!!!

This is a video of Zack sliding into home....he was one of the only kids to slide and it was so fun to watch him!

Masseys Meadow Family Campout

We went camping as a family to Masseys Meadow and the boys got to hike up to Masseys cave.  Tyson was so scared that there was a bear in the cave so they didn't get to do much exploring.  Luckily it's really close to where we live so Justin can take the older boys back and explore later without Tyson.

Tyson was all tired out before we even got to camp....its only about 25 minutes from our house but that was long enough for him to zonk out!  At least he woke up happy!

.

All the boys loved the campout!  We are lucky to have some good camping close to home.

Denver Trip

We went to Denver to visit Jessica's family and also so Justin, Todd and Trent could do the Spartan Race.  Although we didn't get any pictures of the race we got tons of other pictures of our fun time there.  Jess and Todd spoiled up by taking us to an awesome place called Mid Air Adventures.  They had zip lines and big swings for us go on.  We all loved it!!!  Even Tyson and Zack were brave enough to do it by themselves.

Jace of course put his bear in a baseball uniform
Zack made his bear a policeman
All the happy kids with their bears.  Thanks Aunt Jess!!
The boys were super tired after their day of fun!
Jess also sent all the boys/men to a Colorado Rockies baseball game which was really more for Jace than anyone!  He loved it!  It was his first ever Pro Baseball game.  He even got to see them get a Grand Slam which he thought was just awesome!!!

Jess also is an amazing cook!  She made us a turkey dinner which included some really yummy homemade pies!
Thanks to the Mons family for having us come out and for making our trip truly fun and amazing!!!

Hanging Lake

On our way to Denver we took a break to hike to Hanging Lake.  It was only a little over a mile hike to the lake but it was literally up hill almost the whole way.

Oh, did I mention we had to hike through some snow as we got closer to the top...crazy!

This is Hanging Lake.....It sits on top off a cliff and was really cool!
