Zacks 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday! Zack turned 2 on July 20th but we celebrated it all through the month. It started when my family came to visit us in Vernal. We had a birthday party for Zack and Carter on July10th. Celebrating Zacks 2nd birthday

Zacks official 2nd Birthday. We had our own little birthday party for Zack. I love spending time with my boys and its nice having a special birthday party just for our own little family.


As always he loves getting and opening presents.
We celebrated Zacks birthday again, along with Jareds birthday with Justins family on our family campout. They each got a cobbler with candles in it.

Jared didn't want to blow out the candles so Zack happily blew out the candles on both cakes.

Day Trip

We went on a little day trip on Saturday to look for some good campsites for future campouts and to do a little exploring and fishing.We went to Deep Creek and ate lunch. Justin and Jace went exploring and found this cool fort. It looks like a group of people came and took a lot of time on it. It even had a rock wall surrounding it. It was really cool!

After lunch we went to Brownie Lake to fish. The fishing was slow, I was the only one that caught a fish except it was so big it broke off my line right as I brought it to shore. We all had fun trying to catch fish and spending the day in the sun, finally!

Red Lodge fishing

We went fishing last night for FHE and went to a place called Red Lodge. They have cabins you can rent right next to a small lake and a little fishing pond just for kids. Jace started fishing in the pond but about 5 minutes later it started to hail so we went to dinner at the Flaming Gorge restaurant (Justins early Fathers day dinner). After dinner it had stopped raining so we went back and fished some more. Jace caught 2 fish. One with his fishing rod and one with Justins fly rod.

Justin stopped at the view area to take some pictures. We are absolutely loving the beautiful mountains that are all around us!

Fire Truck

Our neighbor had a yard sale on Saturday so Jace and I went over to see if they had anything good. Jace found this car and really wanted it. It was a really good price and Jace LOVES fire trucks so I bought it for my boys. They love it! They fought over it at first so we had to set the timer so they would take turns. Lookin to put out a fire!

I just downloaded my pictures from my camera and had a bunch of misc pictures that I wanted to post so here they are:

Zack and Jace playing war (army guy vs knight/Zorro). Zack likes to be just like Jace. He puts on whatever Jace gives him and they have sword fights, gun fights or just wrestle around on the floor. They really are best friends!

These are pics of Jace and Zack after family night. Jace as always, falls asleep early and anywhere. Zack just layed his head down and Justins desk and sang his sleepy songs. They were so cute I had to take pictures. I love my boys!

Zack loves to bowl! So his latest thing is he stands all his blocks up and then gets a ball and knocks them all down. Then he claps his hands because he thinks that is just the coolest thing!

Our New Home (finally)

Our house is officially ours today! We ran into flood zone problems which delayed the financing about 3 weeks, we are not even in a flood zone. But after everything we went through to get our home we absolutely love it! It is perfect for us! Anyways we are here in Vernal and loving it! I am loving being home with my boys and really enjoy living in a small town. We can drive pretty much any direction in be in the mountains in 10 minutes. We took a drive last night and saw a bid herd of Elk and lots and lots of deer. My boys love it here as well. Justin loves his job! He works as a Physical Therapist at the Hospital, and often takes Jace fishing after work. He really enjoys having a lot of good fishing within 10-45 minutes.
Justin has always wanted an office so we chose to make the living room his office. He bought a big desk (which is really an oversized fly tying table) and enjoys having his own little room to relax in. We all like it too, sorry Justin. His parents gave him the beautiful Christ picture for graduation which we all love.
