Easter

Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a great Easter! We had Easter this year at Justins parents home since we are staying with them until we move to Vernal in May. The kids had a lot of fun finding their easter baskets that the bunny hid. They especially liked the candy.We went to the church for an easter egg hunt on Saturday morning.

Next we had the Watkins Easter/Birthday Party. Every year we have a mixed party to celebrate Easter and Grandpa Rob and Uncle Micahs birthdays. We colored eggs and had an easter egg hunt.
Abby, Matt, Jared, Jace and Joslynn. Zack was asleep for all the fun but Jace got enough candy to share with him.
This is how Justin spent his Easter weekend. He is taking his big Physical Therapy Exam on Tuesday so he spent all day Saturday studying.

The Carter Easter Party. We went to my parents on Sunday for our easter party. We had an easter egg hunt and enjoyed the nice weather outside.

After the egg hunt, Zack picked up Jaces basket and dumped the eggs on the ground. Jace pulled out the dart gun grandma and grandpa gave him and shot him. Zack just laughed and started throwing the eggs. It was pretty funny!

Searching for a home in Vernal

Last Saturday we went to Vernal to look for a house to buy. Did I really think we could go all the way to Vernal and NOT fish the Green River? Who was I kidding. It was a little cold but we all had a good time. Justin is more than happy to go house hunting any time--as long as it includes a short trip to fish the Green.

We didn't find a house but at least Justin caught a fish. That at least made his day!

Happy Birthday Jace!

Jace turned 5 today! We have LOVED having Jace in our family. He is a very handsome, smart, curious, energetic and loving boy! I can't believe he's now 5 years old. Here are some of my favorite pics of Jace:

Our Tucson Visit

We went to Tucson to spend the weekend with Jessica and her family. The kids had a ton of fun playing with their cousins. We went to Old Tucson which is an old filming set that was used to film old movies.

All the boys shot up the town at the old gun shack.

Watch out! Tanner took Jace for a crazy ride around the town in his old car. They almost hit some cactus and drove off a bridge but luckily made it back to the station safely.All the boys got to take a pony ride. I was really surprised that Jace did it. He wasn't even scared.
The boys took a ride down the river in a canoe. They got pretty wet but not from the ride. Todd reached over the fence and splashed water all over them. Since it was 80 degrees it was a nice way to cool them off.

Phoenix Zoo

We went to the Phoenix Zoo with Grandma Mary, Grandma Great, Aunt Diane, Lindsey and Amy and their cute kids.

I think the Baboon was Zacks favorite. It was sitting right next to the glass and Zack thought it was the coolest thing to hit the glass. He would have loved to pet it. He is definantly our animal lover.

We had a picnic at the kids park and the kids went and played on all the toys in the barn.

This picture was taken in the monkey cage. You go inside with the monkeys and they swing from branch to branch and jump over your head to get to other trees. It was pretty cool.

The goat petting zoo. We had pet goats growing up so this brought back some memories. Jace actually petted the goats which is funny because he was always scared to death of the goats at my parents house.

He's done--This is Zack asleep after the zoo. I guess 4 hours at the zoo was just too much for him. We had a lot of fun and the weather was perfect--high 70's.

Arizona

Justin went to Arizona for a school internship for 2 months. Mary, Jace, Zack and I went down for a little over 2 weeks to visit him. It was really nice to stay with Justin at Frank and Dianes house. They were really nice to let us invade there home and we really enjoyed staying with them. It was fun to see all of the family expecially Grandma Willis.

Jace and Zack loved climbing the tree in Frank and Diane's backyard. They also loved to look at the fish in the ponds and play in the "jungle"

We celebrated Justins 28th birthday while we were there. Me and the boys took Justin to Applebees for lunch. It was a lot of fun. We LOVED all the time we got to spend with Justin. Zack was sick and wanted to sit on his daddys lap most of lunch. Turns out Zack had double ear infections. Poor kid.

Frank made Justin his favorite meal for dinner, Steak and potatoes. Jace and I made the cheesecake which is his most favorite cake. After dinner I took Justin on a date to the movies.

We love you Justin!!! We hope you had a really great birthday! You are the best husband and daddy we could ever hope for!!!

Our last day in Arizona we went to Hole in the rock and climbed to the top. Jace was very brave and climbed up the sides of the mountain. He is a really good mountain climber!

We fed the ducks and birds and then Jace and Zack took turns riding the bike. Jace would race towards the birds and chase them away. It was a very fun way to spend our last day with Justin in Arizona.
